Theme: Exploring metaphors of water in scripture and its spiritual significance (refreshment, cleansing, life).

Join us for a transformative retreat day exploring the rich tapestry of water metaphors found throughout scripture, and exploring their continued spiritual significance for our lives today. Through guided reflections, shared exploration of biblical texts, and a contemplative hike into Blackledge Falls, prepare to be refreshed, renewed, and reconnected to the boundless source of "Living Water." Discover the spiritual wellspring that sustains, purifies, and empowers us to live a life overflowing with God's grace.

In the morning, Fr. Patrick will teach in the parish hall on the powerful biblical metaphors of living water and their significance in the life of the believer. Drawing from key scriptures, participants will reflect on how God quenches our spiritual thirst, brings healing and renewal, and sends us out as life-givers to others. Interwoven with the teaching are hands-on activities designed to deepen engagement and embody the lesson.

After lunch, for those who are able and willing, will travel out to Blackledge Falls Trail, in Glastonbury. Hiking into the falls, nestled amidst the serene beauty of Blackledge Falls, participants will have an opportunity to renew the Baptismal Vows from the living water falling from the ledge.
