Takeaway: Trusting that we are exactly where God wants us to be.
“There is a given time for everything and a time for every happening under heaven.” – Ecclesiastes 3:1
Opening Prayer
Heavenly Father, I come before You with a grateful heart, ready to hear Your Word and seek Your presence. Open my eyes to the truths You have for me today. May this time draw me closer to You, strengthen my faith, and inspire me to live out Your purpose in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Reflection
Life often feels like a series of waiting rooms—waiting for answers, for direction, for change. In those moments, it’s easy to question whether God sees us, or whether He is really working behind the scenes. But Scripture reminds us that nothing is random or outside of God’s control. Every season—whether it be of growth, struggle, joy, sorrow or simply waiting—they all fit into His perfect plan.
Esther’s story is a powerful reminder of this truth. She was an ordinary Jewish girl who became queen in a foreign land. When a crisis arose that put her people in danger, she might have doubted her ability to make a difference. Yet Mordecai’s words to her, “perhaps you have come to the throne for just such a time as this.”—revealed that she was in that place at that moment for a divine purpose.
Likewise, you are not where you are by accident. Even if life feels uncertain, even if doors seem closed, trust that God’s timing is perfect. He has placed you here, now, for a reason.
Application
• Reflect on a time when God’s timing didn’t make sense at first but later proved to be perfect.
• Pray for patience in seasons of waiting, trusting that God is preparing you for what’s next.
• Take one step of faith today, believing that God is working in your current situation.
Closing Prayer
Father, thank You for the assurance that Your timing is perfect. Help me to trust You even when I don’t understand the season I’m in. Give me the faith to walk in obedience, knowing that You are leading me for such a time as this. Amen.
