Preaching at St Andrew's
Forming faithful disciples through Word and Sacrament.
At St. Andrew's, we are committed to the faithful proclamation of God's Word. Each sermon seeks to open the Scriptures, reveal the grace and truth of Jesus Christ, and help people connect faith to everyday life. Our prayer is that through hearing and receiving God's Word, hearts are renewed, faith is strengthened, and disciples are formed for mission.

Following Jesus in a Distracted World
Recovering Attention, Communion, and
Faithful Presence
Current Sermon Series
5/31/26 - 9/21/26
SERIES VISION: Modern culture excels at fragmenting attention, accelerating anxiety, and shaping restless hearts. Many people do not reject God intentionally; they simply become too distracted to remain attentive to Him. This series explores the call of Jesus to live awake, rooted, and attentive amid the noise of contemporary life.
The series follows the Gospel readings of the Revised Common Lectionary Year A while framing them through spiritual formation, cultural discipleship, attention, identity, communion, and faithful endurance.
SERIES BIG IDEA: The greatest threat to spiritual life may not be open rebellion against God, but slow drift away from attentive communion with Him.
