“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” — Jeremiah 29:13
Opening Prayer (Tuesday)
Lord, I come before You seeking wisdom and clarity. Help me to discern Your will and make choices that honor You. Open my heart to Your truth as I spend time with You today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Reflection
To follow Jesus is not a one-time step but a daily journey of seeking, finding, and rediscovering Him in our daily life. Jeremiah 29:13 speaks to this rhythm when we seek God with all our hearts, we will find Him. It’s an invitation not to a single spiritual moment, but to a life-long relationship that grows intimacy. God does not play hide-and-seek with us; He draws near to those who truly look for Him. The promise isn’t based on how perfect we are, but on the posture of the heart. When we come to God in genuine pursuit, He meets us with presence, truth, and grace.
Rediscovering Jesus daily means resisting the temptation to rely on yesterday’s faith. Yesterday’s manna doesn’t keep and sustain today’s hunger. Our spiritual life grows stale when we assume we’ve already seen or known enough of Christ. But the truth is, there is always more of Jesus to discover. His love is deeper than we think, His wisdom richer, and His presence more available than we dare believe. Daily rediscovery invites us to seek again, knock again, and ask again; not because He withholds Himself, but because He delights in drawing us deeper. We don’t grow in faith by standing still but by walking daily with Jesus.
This kind of seeking is more than spiritual curiosity. It’s a heart-level longing for the One who knows us best and calls us by name. It’s choosing prayer not as a task, but as quality time. It’s opening scripture not as a rulebook, but as a living conversation. It’s asking, “Lord, where are You moving today?” and then listening with an open heart. When we live this way, rediscovery becomes less about gaining knowledge and more about deepening our relationship with God. We find Jesus not just in quiet moments of devotion, but in unexpected conversations, acts of kindness, ordinary beauty, and sacred silence that fills the day. The daily rediscovery of Jesus transforms us gradually as our affections are re-centered on the One who loved us first.
Distractions will try to dilute our desire. We may go through seasons of dryness, doubt, or distance. But even in those places, the invitation remains: seek Him with your whole heart. Not with fragments or leftover time in the day, but with the full attention of one who truly longs to be near to God. The remarkable truth is that we are always being invited into more. More clarity. More peace. More trust. More joy. And at the center of it is Jesus Himself. So today, return to the simplicity of seeking. Don’t assume you’ve already arrived or known enough. Begin again. Ask again. Open your heart again. Rediscover Jesus.
